Amazing! India is my second home. For the last three years or so I have spent over two years living and travelling around the country! So far, I’ve visited 22 of 29 states, which is quite a lot.
I’ve been an expat in India, backpacked around India and also splurged on luxury travel in India too. So, I have plenty of resources, travel guides, itineraries and tips to help your plan your trip for any type of budget!
First things first, India is a HUGE country. It covers approximately 20% of the earths surface! So, if you are on a limited time frame of just a week or two, I would recommend the Golden Triangle route of Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan or to limit your options! Always leave extra time for travelling as it goes on Indian time which is notoriously late. Next, have a think about what type of trip you would like. Do you want to see the big bucket list tick offs like the Taj Mahal? Do you want to travel to mountains? Go on a foodie trip? Try Yoga and stay in an Ashram? India has SO many amazing destinations and options for you – that’s why I love it so much. I have over 100 articles about India on my blog. So, I’ve tried to organise them in a way where you can find what you’re looking for – even if you don’t know the country!
