England
Tally-ho chaps! England is where I live and I absolutely love exploring places in this small but mighty country. From white sandy beaches in the south, the bustling capital of London, quintessential Cotswolds villages, and the emerald peaks of the north. There’s so much diversity, culture, and history to explore here. Please browse through my extensive collection of England travel blogs for destination guides and travel advice from a local. But first, a cuppa tea and crumpets are on the cards…

Things to know before visiting England
- You must apply for a Standard Visitor Visa if you’re heading to the UK for tourism. You can apply for this online.
- Public transport is privatised here and can be expensive. I recommend booking trains through Trainline and buses through National Express.
- Don’t just stay in London. There are so many places to see!
- Many shops close on Sundays and public transport can be more limited in some areas. Cities are usually fine.
- The Holy Trifecta of British culture is Greggs Bakery, supermarket meal deals and a visit to a Wetherspoons pub!
