Royal Banquet of Arendelle – Visit a Frozen Restaurant at Tokyo DisneySea!

Hey Frozen fans, did you know that you can dine inside Arendelle Castle at Tokyo DisneySea?
It’s called the Royal Banquet of Arendelle, where you are a special guest of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna in Frozen Kingdom.
You can dine on a hearty feast of savoury pot-pies and even take a photo on the royal throne!
It’s a dream come true for Frozen fans, where you can let it go. It almost feels surreal to dine there as the theming is that good.
Here is a review of the Frozen Restaurant at Tokyo DisneySea’s Fantasy Springs and whether it’s worth visiting.
What is the Royal Banquet of Arendelle?
The Royal Banquet of Arendelle is the Frozen Restaurant inside Arendelle Castle at Tokyo Disney Resort.
It’s located in Tokyo DisneySea’s Fantasy Springs area and feels like you’ve stepped into the icy realm from the movie.
Everyone who visits Frozen Kingdom is invited to a royal feast as special guests of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna.
It’s easily one of the best counter-service restaurants at this park in terms of theming, ambience and food quality.
Important information about visiting
- You need a valid park ticket to visit the Frozen restaurant in Tokyo DisneySea.
- The Royal Banquet of Arendelle can be found in the Frozen Kingdom of the Fantasy Springs area.
- It’s a counter-service venue and is gigantic; it can accommodate up to 570 people.
- You can only visit with proof of a Mobile Order through the Tokyo Disney Resort app. The cast members check these.
Visit Arendelle Castle
I think we need a moment to appreciate how majestic the Frozen Castle is in Fantasy Springs before we step inside.
I honestly could not believe my eyes when I first saw it. It really felt like I had stepped into Arendelle from the movie.
The castle is Nordic in design and takes inspiration from medieval Stave churches.
It’s utterly enchanting and makes an incredible photo opportunity to remember your visit.
On that note, I got most of my photos of this magical castle at night shortly after closing. This area is the definition of a hot mess during the day.
Inside the Royal Banquet of Arendelle
Did you know that Tokyo Disney is currently the only park in the world that lets you go inside Arendelle Castle?
The fact that you get to sit and dine here, taking your time to appreciate it, makes it all the more special.
There is a large outdoor dining area with a view of the harbour, fjord cliffs and mountains.
It was November on our visit and pretty chilly. Although the cold never bothered me anyway, I would still recommend eating inside.
There is a selection of indoor dining rooms, and all of them have amazing theming.
These are all beautifully decorated like royal chambers with a fireplace, bookcases, heirlooms and a plethora of portraits.
Many of these paintings are of Frozen characters, including Olaf. I particularly loved the one of Kristoff and Sven.

The Grand Hall
The most popular room in the Frozen Restaurant has to be the Grand Hall.
This chamber honestly took my breath away with the painted ceiling, majestic chandeliers, and kingdom banners.
It makes you feel like Nordic royalty, but this is easily the most popular and crowded room in the entire restaurant. So, you may have to wait a while.
While we were waiting for our order to be ready, we put something on the table to reserve our seats (this is the norm in Japan).
It took a while, but we got there in the end. I was so happy and excited to eat in this room!
What’s on the Frozen Restaurant’s menu?
Like most of the counter-service restaurants at Tokyo Disney, the menu is limited.
On our visit, they offered a pair of limited-edition sweet treats until 31 March 2026.
These were a chocolate churro and a hot chocolate with a lingonberry & whipped cream topping and marshmallows.
Sipping on this is just like having one of Olaf’s Warm Hugs. It’s almost too cute to consume. But, I guess, some people are worth melting for.
The main event is their selection of savoury pies served in Arendelle’s Royal Set.
Arendelle’s Royal Set
You can choose either beef or fish pie in the Arendelle Royal Set, and this comes with:
- Beef/Fish Pie
- Smoked Salmon Salad
- Potato Gratin
- Bread
- Olaf’s Marshmallow-Chocolate Mousse
- Choice of Soft Drink
Now, the price of these meals is above average for a typical counter-service restaurant at Tokyo Disney. It’s one of the most expensive.
Each meal costs ¥3,500 (£16.58 / $22.32). But, I felt the value for money was much better as the meal is much heartier.
The quality of the food was also phenomenal. It was easily the best meal I had at Tokyo Disney.
Add in the fact that you get to eat inside Arendelle Castle and sit on the royal throne. It was an overall magical experience and well worth it.

What’s the food like?
Although you definitely pay more at the Frozen Restaurant, the quality here is far superior.
I loved how the royal set was presented; it came served on a special tray with a pretty plastic covering that had the castle logo on it.
The Nordic-inspired smoked salmon salad was so fresh and tasty, and the lettuce had a good crunch.
The beef pie was delicious, the crust was perfectly cooked, and it had an adorable snowflake on top.
Inside, the beef was tender and marinated in a rich red wine sauce. Weirdly, there was pasta inside, but it didn’t affect the taste of the meal.
I loved mopping up the sauce with the soft steamed bun that was decorated with a bell.
I’m not a huge fan of potato gratin and knew I would be too full to finish it. So, I didn’t eat much of this, but it was flavourful.
One of my favourite parts was dessert. The chocolate mousse was decadent, and it had a delicious Olaf mochi on top.
It was a zingly lemon and incredibly tasty. I ended up eating my friends as well as she doesn’t like rice cakes.
Safe to say, I was completely stuffed by the end but satisfied.
This meal is certainly worthy of a royal feast at Arendelle Castle. It’s utterly delectable and will not leave you hungry!
Sit on the Frozen Throne
One of the best parts of eating inside Arendelle Castle is getting to sit on the royal throne.
This can be found inside the Grand Hall, adorned with chandeliers and Frozen Kingdom banners.
You really feel like Queen Elsa sitting here, and this magical experience is exclusive to guests who dine in this restaurant!
You don’t want to miss it, so make sure to leave enough time. Sometimes there’s a queue, but it moves pretty quickly.
Is the Royal Banquet of Arendelle worth visiting?
Yes, if you’re a fan of Frozen, you have to dine at the Royal Banquet of Arendelle.
You really can’t skip the opportunity to dine inside Anne and Elsa’s castle with all of their friends.
Even if you’re not a huge fan, the hearty food here is easily some of the best in the parks and worth visiting for.
It’s snow joke, the Frozen Restaurant is well worth visiting. So, let it go and try it for yourself!
Where is the Frozen Restaurant in Tokyo Disney?
You’ll find the Royal Banquet of Arendelle inside Arendelle Castle at Tokyo DisneySea.
It’s the largest building in the Frozen Kingdom of Fantasy Springs and can be found right beside Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey.
It’s very hard to miss, as it is so spectacular. It’s truly an attraction in itself.
Opening times
The Frozen restaurant is typically open from 9 am – 9 pm daily, but these times may change depending on the day, season, or weather.
Remember, you can only visit with proof of a Mobile Order through the Tokyo Disney Resort App.
The last order time is usually around 8.20 pm. It’s best to check the park calendar before you go.
My top tips for your visit
- For a quieter experience, visit early or late. This restaurant is large, but it often packs out.
- The most popular room is the Grand Hall/Throne Room. It was my favourite too. You may have to wait for a seat to become available.
- It’s worth exploring each of the rooms to find all the cute Frozen portraits. There’s even one of Oaken.

Frozen Kingdom in Fantasy Springs
The Frozen Kingdom is a themed port area of Tokyo DisneySea, which will transport you straight to Arendelle.
You can admire distant mountains and fjords around the castle and harbour.
There is a Frozen ride, Anna and Elsa meet-and-greets and a fun snack bar selling light bites.
It’s absolutely stunning, and there are lots of beautiful places to take photos.
Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey
Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey is easily the most popular ride in the entire resort.
The queues reach three to four hours every day, and so this is the one you need to rope-drop or secure fast passes for.
We tried our very best, but all the fast passes sold out, not even 15 minutes after the official park opening.
I have heard you can keep refreshing the page to get a slot, but we didn’t know this hack at the time.
Despite all our efforts, it was still in vain as the ride broke down that day. They then cut the queue off when it resumed operation.
We just let it go (hehe), but hopefully you’ll have more luck on your visit.
If you have the budget, consider staying at the Fantasy Springs Hotel, as you get Early Magic Time.
It’s only a 15-minute head start before the official opening time, but it can make all the difference.
Oaken’s OK Foods
Yoo-hoo, if you want more Frozen-themed snacks, then you can find Oaken’s OK Foods right by Arendelle Castle.
It’s inspired by everyone’s favourite merchant and sauna owner from the snowy cabin and serves a savoury snack.
It’s called Oaken’s Yoo-Hoo Bread (Cardamon Bread), and it’s definitely…interesting.
Oaken is my favourite character from the movie, so I knew I wanted to try this on my visit.
Unfortunately, I didn’t like it as the flavour just wasn’t to my taste. But, give it a try, you may think differently.
