Whether that be the breathtaking views, the Hollywood movie locations, the epic historical monuments, the mouth-watering food, or the classy shopping and nightlife. Things to know before visiting Malta
- If you’re from Europe, you do not need a visa to travel to Malta for up to 90 days.
- Don’t just visit the capital of Valletta. I would recommend heading out to other beautiful places like Gozo and Mdina.
- Malta is a very safe country to visit with a low crime rate. But, there is some pickpocketing in the capital – so watch your stuff.
- You can easily travel around Malta with a car or use the bus network to travel to major cities and towns.
- Summer season can be stifling, so remember to keep hydrated and bring lots of SPF.
