Ever since I was a kid I’ve been obsessed with Vikings and so I couldn’t wait to visit Norway! I have to admit, I have only visited Oslo and this was for New Year’s Eve so it was a short trip and bitterly cold. But, I absolutely loved exploring this diverse city with the Viking Museum, Scream Painting and Akershus Fortress. I would love to go back and see the spectacular fjords one day. A girl can dream!

- Don’t just visit the capital of Oslo as I did. I would recommend heading out to other scenic places like the Norwegian Fjords.
- Norway is a very safe country to visit with a low crime rate.
- Eating out in Norway is extremely expensive. So, I would make use of the supermarkets to save on costs.
- Bring an extra layer with you, even in summer! Norway can experience a chilly breeze all year round.
