Things to know before visiting Poland
- You do not need a visa for short tourist trips to Poland. You can stay for a maximum of 90 days visa-free.
- You can book train tickets through the local transport website PKP Intercity. It’s easy to book and it’s in English.
- Don’t just visit the main tourist hub of Krakow. There are other amazing places to visit like Wroclaw and Gdansk.
- Most museums around the country are closed on a Monday.
- ATM skimming happens a lot here so go to an ATM inside a bank to keep your cards and money safe.
