- It’s easiest to travel around with a car but you can book trains through ScotRail and buses through Citylink.
- That being said, public transport in the Highlands is limited. Always preplan your journeys with Traveline Scotland.
- Don’t just stay in the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow. There are so many incredible places to see all over!
- Spend your Scottish bank notes in Scotland, many shops in England will not take them as legal tender (stupid, I know).
