Travel Resources
Over the years, I’ve tried and tested countless travel booking platforms and products. Not all of them are created equal. Here are all of my favourite tools and recommendations to help you plan the perfect trip!

Flights & Transport

SKYSCANNER
I always use Skyscanner to book flights as you can look up fare calendars month by month. Top tip: use the ‘anywhere’ function to find cheap deals!

WELCOME PICKUPS
I love using Welcome Pickups when I first arrive at a new city. It just gives you a bit of reassurance that you’ll make it to your hotel safely.

FLIXBUS
I love using Flixbus in Europe, there are so many connections to book and the journeys are cheap. Plus, you can book an extra seat for comfort.

RENTALCARS
If you’re thinking of renting a car look no further than Rentalcars! They show you the best deals in the country you’re looking for and have free cancellation.

Stay connected on the road
I rarely buy a new SIM card or even a data dongle these days; it’s now all about eSIMs. Holafly is my preferred choice as their data plans are unlimited. My readers can get a 5% discount on their next eSIM with my exclusive Holafly discount code valid for new and existing customers. Just use ‘THIRDEYETRAVELLER’ at checkout!

Accommodation

BOOKING.COM
My go to booking site for hotels is Booking.com! The more you book the more Genius discounts you unlock. Plus, there’s free cancellation on all bookings.

HOSTELWORLD
Before I started booking private rooms, I always used Hostelworld to book cheap accommodation. Hostels are a great way to meet people.

Don’t forget travel insurance
Unfortunately, things can and do go wrong when you travel. World Nomads offers coverage for more than 150 activities as well as emergency medical, lost luggage, trip cancellation and more.

Trips & Tours

GET YOUR GUIDE
I always book my day trips, tours and tickets through GetYourGuide. They always have great tour options with competitive prices.

VIATOR
If I can’t find a tour through GYG, then I look to Viator. I don’t use this as much as it’s more expensive, but it does have some great things to book.

KLOOK
I’ve used Klook a lot recently, especially on my recent trip to Japan. It’s very user-friendly and has some great discounts that you can’t find elsewhere!

TRIP.com
I used Trip on my recent travels to China. It’s very user-friendly and has some great deals on bullet trains, hotels and discounted attraction tickets!
