I’ve been to the USA many times but I’ve barely scratched the surface of this huge country. There are 50 diverse states to choose from but I’ve only made it to Florida and New England so far. Most of my travel guides are for Walt Disney World and the theme parks in Orlando. But, I have so many parts of the USA on my bucket list. New England for Fall, Twilight locations in Oregon, New York City and Venice Beach in L.A. I’ll make it happen one day!

Things to know before visiting the USA
- To enter or transit in the USA you will need an Electronic System for Travel Authorisation ( ESTA ) visa waiver or a visa.
- Although lots of bad things are said about the USA in the news, the country is generally safe to travel to – especially if you’re visiting the theme parks of Orlando.
- State Tax is usually not included in the initial price of products or food. So, expect prices to go up on checkout.
- Tipping for service workers is expected at restaurants and other businesses. The standard tipping amount is 15 – 20%.
