Peanuts lovers, did you know that you can visit a Snoopy Bakery in Macau?

It’s a themed branch of Yeng Kee Bakery, one of the city’s oldest and most famous pastelerias.

You can sample one of their famous egg tarts and also buy exclusive tins of their signature almond cookies. 

As a lover of Snoopy from an early age, this was a trip down memory lane for me. I had such a wonderful time.

They have won multiple awards for their Chinese pastries and are known for their signature almond cookies and phoenix egg rolls.

It’s now the city’s longest-running bakery with branches found all over the city. 

One of their most famous shops has to be the Snoopy Bakery in the Historic Centre near the Ruins of St Paul’s.

This Peanut’s pasteleria is a dream come true for Snoopy fans, as you can find your favourite characters all over the bakery.

Not only are there photo opportunities in abundance, but you can also buy a famous egg tart, exclusive Snoopy tins and merchandise.

Where is the Snoopy Bakery in Macau?

You’ll find the Yeng Kee Bakery Snoopy Theme Shop in the Historic Centre of Macau.

It’s just a stone’s throw away from popular attractions like the Ruins of St Paul’s, Monte Fort and Senado Square. So, it’s very easy to find.

The easiest way to access the Snoopy Bakery is on foot due to the labyrinthine narrow streets, and you can find it on Rue das Estalagens.

You’ll know you’ve arrived at the Yeng Kee Bakery Snoopy shop as it’s painted bright red, with a giant Snoopy on the sign out front. 

You’ll find a huge statue of Joe Cool welcoming you inside, and all of your favourite characters dotted around the store. 

There are always people getting photos of the bakery throughout the day, as it’s just so cute. You can’t help but stop and snap a picture.

If you’re looking to sample some traditional Macanese sweets, then this is the place to do it.

Yeng Kee is famous for their signature almond cookies, phoenix rolls, Chinese pastries, egg tarts and dried goods.

Snoopy Egg Tarts (Pastel de Nata)

One of the things that Yeng Kee Bakery is famous for is its delicious egg tarts or Pastel de Nata.

You’ll find egg tarts all over the city and wider Canton region due to Macau’s Portuguese colonial history. 

They are baked fresh in-store every day, so I knew I had to try one on my visit. 

They have a choice of either original flavour or chocolate, and I decided to go for chocolate.

I was so excited as it came served in a special Yeng Kee Snoopy box, which was super aesthetic. 

The pastry was so crispy, and you could really taste the rich chocolate. The sweet egg filling was also piping hot. It made the perfect snack.

Exclusive Snoopy tins and souvenirs 

Yeng Kee Bakery is known for its almond cookies, phoenix rolls and peanut brittle. You can buy them in abundance here.

All over the shop, you’ll find exclusive and colourful Snoopy tins of popular snacks and dried goods. 

They make a fabulous souvenir to take home or gifts for loved ones. Honestly, I wish I had more room in my suitcase to get more!

Heaps of Snoopy photo opportunities

One thing I loved about this Snoopy Bakery was how many photo opportunities there were.

Of course, there is the big Snoopy statue at the front, which has people snapping photos with it all day.

But, as you make your way inside, you’ll find even more characters to pose with.

You’ll find dedicated photo zones with Snoopy, Woodstock and Linus with his blanket. Also, there is a statue of Lucy in the window. 

Yeng Kee Bakery Snoopy Branch opening times

The Snoopy Bakery is open from 9.30 am to 8.30 pm in Macau, so there is plenty of time to visit during your trip.

It’s very close to the Ruins of St Paul’s, so you can make a quick pitstop on the way for a delicious egg tart and photos. 

It’s not a huge store, so you won’t need long to visit. But note that it can get crowded during the day.

For the best experience and photo opportunities, I recommend visiting right at opening time.
