Popland Beijing - How To Visit The Labubu Theme Park In China (2026)!

Pop Mart fans, did you know that there is a Labubu theme park in China? It’s called Popland in Beijing, and it’s a wonderland for fans and collectors.

It has all sorts of themed rides, shows, restaurants, carnival games, exclusive merchandise and character greetings to enjoy.

As a huge fan of Pop Mart and Labubu, I found it was a dream come true.

Hand on heart, this was one of my favourite days out in China, and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Here is a complete guide for Popland Beijing with everything you can do in the Labubu theme park and helpful tips to maximise your visit.

What is Popland Beijing?

Popland, or Pop Mart City Park, is Pop Mart’s first and only theme park located in Beijing, China.

It’s a huge amusement park featuring all of Pop Mart’s most famous characters like the Monsters, Dimoo and Molly.

This Labubu land has a variety of shows, character greetings, restaurants, shops and carnival games.

It used to be quite a small park, but they have recently expanded with new areas and now have a selection of rides to enjoy.

It’s a fun day out for all the family and a paradise for Pop Mart fans. You have to visit during your travels to Beijing.

How to buy Popland tickets & entry fees

I highly recommend booking your Popland ticket through official partners like Klook or Trip.com before you visit. It’s the easiest way.

There are different tiers of ticketing, and each has a different price.

A basic ticket will cost you as little as £10, and this only includes entry to the park. You can also book evening-only tickets.

A standard amusement ticket with unlimited rides will set you back around £18.

I booked an offer that included entrance, unlimited rides and 3 x carnival games for just £18 on Klook. I thought this was such good value!

They also have ticket options that include a dinner voucher for Molly’s Banquet Hall. So, it’s worth checking around for the latest deals.

The prices are due to increase by the end of the year as Popland continues to develop and expand the park.

Where is Popland Beijing?

Popland is located within Chaoyang Park in Beijing, and it’s easy to visit by public transport or taxi:

By public transport: take the Beijing metro to Zaoying Station (Line 14). This is right outside the park entrance.

By Taxi: you can also take a DiDi to the park entrance. It’s China’s version of Uber, and you can book trips through Alipay.

The full address is Building 40, No.1 Chaoyang Park South Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing (near West Gate 3 of Chaoyang Park).

When is the best time to visit Popland?

I would say that you should plan a visit to Popland in either spring or autumn. The weather is just right in these seasons.

If you visit in summer, it can be extremely hot and crowded, and in winter, many shows and attractions won’t be running.

In terms of the time of day, I would plan your visit on a weekday and get there right at opening time.

I visited at 10 am, and for the first couple of hours, it was pretty much empty. By the afternoon/evening, it became quite crowded.

Things to do before you visit Popland

The first thing you need to do before you visit Popland is to buy a ticket, as it’s cheaper and quicker than buying at the gate.

I would also recommend downloading the Popland Mini-App in WeChat. To find it, enter POPLAND (泡泡玛特城市乐园) into the Search Bar.

It’s in Chinese, but you can translate it all to English in the app. I added it to my favourites so I didn’t have to keep searching for it all the time.

This hub will have an interactive map of the park along with a list of show times, attractions and character greeting times so you won’t miss anything.

If you plan to get here for the opening, I recommend getting in the queue around 30 minutes before, as lines get long.

Things to do in Popland

Since they have expanded Popland, there are now endless magical things to do here on a visit.

You can watch shows, play carnival games, collect stamps, eat themed food, shop for exclusive merchandise and meet your fave characters.

Here are all the enchanting things to do in Popland Beijing.

Update: Popland is rapidly expanding. They’ve already introduced five rides and are working on more, including a rollercoaster. So, you may see construction on your visit. But it won’t affect your time there. Watch this space for more updates.

1. Walk Down Pop Street

Pop Street is the original section of the park and the first thing you see when you enter Popland.

You’ll be greeted by the new Labubu Vliegende Fountain and can find an information centre beside it.

You’ll then walk past a Popland boutique, a stamp book booth, an ice cream shop, and a Labubu popcorn stall.

You’ll also find the Labubu waffle stand, Sweet Bean Roboshop, Skull Panda carnival game and a meet-and-greet area.

There are plenty of photo opportunities on Pop Street, including the giant Labubu gift, a splash box with Molly and Dimoo and the Labubu cake.

I had so much fun taking photos in this street, and people were more than happy to help out as I was visiting alone.

2. Collect Popland Stamps

Make sure to pick up a Popland stamp book at the booth on Pop Street.

This is a fun trail that leads you around the park, and you can find hidden stamp stations in each area by following helpful clues.

This book used to cost a small fee, but on my visit, it was completely free.

It’s a great activity for kids and big kids alike and is a cute souvenir to take home to remember your visit.

3. Try a Labubu Waffle

One of the best things to do in Popland is to try a tasty Labubu Waffle. They are exclusively sold in a food van on Pop Street.

It comes served with a helping of ice cream served in a waffle cone and topped with sweets and fruit.

I loved the fact that it came in a cute Labubu box, and it made for a great photo opportunity.

The waffle was also really delicious and was one of my favourite snacks I ate in the park.

4. Labubu Forest / Monster Market Place

As soon as you’ve finished on Pop Street, you’ll make your way inside Labubu’s Adventure Forest.

This entire area has had a revamp for 2026, and you’ll find a brand-new range of attractions in its Monster Market Place.

There are three Labubu rides, endless carnival games, plus food and drink stalls. Many of these are well-known brands like Peet’s Coffee.

There is also the famous Zimomo Treehouse, where you can watch the Elven Cheerleading / Labubu Dance show.

5. Popland Rides / Labubu Adventure Fjord

I felt very lucky with the timing of my visit to Popland, as they had just opened their brand new set of rides in the park.

They have three Labubu rides you can enjoy on your visit:

De Vliegende Labubu – A Pirate Ship
Labubu Drop Tower
Cirque de Labubu – A bouncing ride

My favourite was the one with a Jester Labubu in the Jack-in-the-box.

You bounce up and down while he sings, and I couldn’t stop laughing as the whole thing felt like a fever dream.

These rides were honestly so fun, and on a weekday, they had hardly any queues. I think I waited a maximum of 10 minutes for each ride.

Just make sure that your Popland ticket has rides included. The staff will scan your ticket each time before you ride.

If you don’t have a ticket that includes rides, you can pay per ride on-site.

6. Ride Dimoo’s Carousel & Cloud Swing

The other two rides that Popland have unveiled in Dimoo World are:

“Waltz in the Cloud” or Dimoo’s Carousel
“A Melody in a Dream” or Dimoo’s Cloud Swing

The Merry-go-Round is so adorable as it’s been designed in all pastel colours with fairytale animals that you can ride.

It’s mainly for kids, but it’s a lovely and relaxing journey for adults too.

I usually get quite scared of riding these long chain swing rides as I don’t like the way everyone knocks together at the end.

But, thankfully, I rode the cloud swing on my own and had a wonderful time. You got some great views of Molly’s Castle and Pop Lake.

7. Watch a Popland Show

Throughout the day, you’ll find lots of Popland Shows to keep you entertained, featuring your favourite Pop Mart characters.

My favourite show was the Bubbling Up Spring Time Party in front of Molly’s Castle. This starred Molly, Mokoko and Star Bunny, who danced on stage.

But I also watched the Elven Warrior Training, Elven Cheerleading (Labubu Dance), and the Big Party at the end of the day.

All the shows were high-energy and a lot of fun. Just make sure to arrive around 15/20 minutes before the show starts to secure a good spot.

Show times change often, and different characters show up depending on the season.

I recommend having the WeChat Mini-App installed to check the list of show times for the day of your visit.

8. Zimomo Treehouse

Deep within the Labubu Forest, you’ll find Zimomo’s Treehouse.

Here you can watch the Elven Cheerleading show or the Labubu Dance that you’ve most probably seen on social media.

I’m a grown adult (by the way) and had a blast watching this show. I couldn’t stop smiling.

They ask the crowd to join in the dance and sing along. Plus, you can high-five Labubu if you’re at the very front.

When Zimomo came out, the crowd went wild. He’s such a badass and constantly causes trouble.

You can line up to meet him throughout the day and get some photos taken together. He’s such a sweetheart.

9. Elven Warrior Training

One of my favourite Popland shows was the Elven Warrior Training that took place at their Viking Stage in Labubu Adventure Fjord.

Here you can watch Labubu characters train for sword fighting, and they even select people from the audience to participate.

After they go through several trials, the strongest warrior is selected, and they get a special prize.

The interactions you got from the Labubus at this show were golden. They constantly play-fight, high-five the crowd and make you laugh.

Make sure to arrive well before the show starts to get a good place in the front row so you can meet the pesky duo.

10. Meet Pop Mart Characters

One of the best parts about visiting Popland is getting to meet your favourite Pop Mart characters.

They have meet and greet opportunities throughout the day with Molly, Dimoo, Mokoko, Zimomo, Labubu and others.

You can use the Popland WeChat Mini-App to check for meet-and-greet times.

Some are set greetings like Dimoo and Zimomo, and others are a random surprise on the day. Almost like a blind box but with characters.

An important thing to note is that they only allow 40 people to meet each character in a session to avoid queues getting too long.

So, get there 15-20 minutes before they start to guarantee a place. At first, I kept getting turned away as the lines were already full.

In the end, I actually got to meet four characters while I was here, which was so magical. I met Dimoo, Mokoko, Zimomo, and Molly.

They have professional photographers who take photos of you. You can scan a QR code in WeChat and pay to download all your photos.

On my visit, I paid a set fee of ¥99 (approx. £10) for unlimited photos for the day. It was a bargain, and I ended up with over 100 photo memories.

I also got two printed out at the photo booth in Molly’s Castle and purchased some cute Popland frames for them.

11. Meet Mokoko

I don’t think I can write a post about Popland without mentioning this pink diva.

Mokoko is Popland’s mascot and a character that is exclusive to the theme park.

You can see her dance in the ‘Bubbling Up Spring Time Party Show’ in front of Molly’s Castle throughout the day.

Afterwards, you can line up to meet her for a photo opportunity. This greeting was so wholesome as she looked so lovely in her floral dress.

Another thing I was most excited for when visiting Popland was being able to purchase some exclusive Mokoko merchandise.

I went a little wild in the shop as all the Mokoko gifts were pink, fluffy, and smelled like cherry blossoms.

Just note that I couldn’t find any Mokoko plush toys on my visit. I was devastated. There were some on display, but none for purchase.

12. Play Carnival Games

Something you’ll find in abundance in Popland is carnival games. There are many available to play in every area of the park.

You’ll find dart boards, basketball, ring toss, bottle knockdowns, fishing ponds, corn toss and more.

With every game, you get the chance to win amazing prizes. But it’s not as easy as it looks.

My ticket came with 3 carnival games included. But you can pay-per-play if you’re feeling lucky. They typically cost around ¥30 (approx £3.30)

Unfortunately, I lost all of the games. But I did get a consolation prize of a blind box badge with each loss. So, it didn’t sting too much.

13. Visit Molly’s Castle

Molly’s Castle is a grand chateau next to Pop Lake that is a centrepiece of Pop Land.

The outside of this castle makes a great photo opportunity, and there is a huge statue of Molly on the fountain out the front.

They often have shows on the stage outside throughout the day, like the Bubble Spring Party and the Big Party at the end.

14. Buy exclusive Popland merchandise

One of the best things to do in Popland is browse all the exclusive merchandise.

These are Popland blind boxes, souvenirs and plush toys that you can only buy here in the entire world!

You’ll know if it’s an exclusive product as it is marked with a special sticker.

I’m not going to lie to you; I went a little wild in the Popland shop. There were just so many amazing things to buy.

I bought blind box magnets, Labubu keychains and endless Mokoko merchandise.

If you’re a Pop Mart collector, you will lose your mind in this store. So, come with a budget in mind or prepare to do serious damage to your wallet.

15. Popland Toy Gallery

While you’re wandering around Molly’s Castle, don’t forget to check out the Toy Gallery in the back.

It’s almost like a Popland Museum as they have hundreds of Pop Mart’s old collections on display.

As you know, Pop Mart mainly operates on blind boxes. So, you don’t always get to see the whole collection of a series in person.

It was really cool to check out some of the older figurines and the secret versions. The gallery is also aesthetic and makes a great photo.

16. Molly’s Dessert Shop

Behind the Popland boutique, you’ll find Molly’s Dessert Shop. This is an entire bakery dedicated to Pop Mart characters.

You’ll find lots of yummy cakes on display featuring Labubu, Cry Baby, Molly, Twinkle Twinkle and more.

They also have pastries to purchase and themed biscuit tins to take home.

I went a little overboard here as everything looked so scrumptious. I bought three cakes in the end!

One was a Labubu strawberry tart, another was a Twinkle Twinkle chocolate doughnut, and the last was a Cry Baby flower cake.

I made a valiant effort to finish them all, but I started to feel sick, so I ended up taking one home. Everything was utterly delicious, though.

There is limited seating in the café, but you can also take your delectable purchases away.

17. Dimoo’s Boat – The Yum Explorer

When visiting Molly’s Castle, don’t forget to visit Dimoo’s Boat docked on the water.

It’s called The Yum Explorer, and you can find Dimoo inside along with a café serving up themed drinks.

They had a blue Dimoo cloud drink for sale here as well as some tasty snacks. You could also head to the top floor for some better views.

18. Molly’s Banquet Hall

If you’re looking for somewhere delicious to eat at Popland, I recommend Molly’s Banquet Hall.

It’s located on the top floor of Molly’s Castle and is their fine dining restaurant.

You can sit in an enchanted royal setting, and there are window seats overlooking Popland.

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here after my shopping spree. After a full day at the theme park, I was so happy to rest my feet.

As I was sitting solo, they brought over a giant Zimomo as the Angel in the Clouds to join me. It was so sweet.

I ordered pork ribs with crinkle potatoes and corn, plus a fruity tea cocktail for my main. I then enjoyed a Twinkle Twinkle apple dish for dessert.

Everything was so tasty, and the setting felt grand. It is a little expensive, but I thought this regal experience was worth the splurge.

19. Molly’s Secret Flower Island

Behind Molly’s Castle, you can visit Molly’s Garden that features more topiary and statues with your favourite Pop Mart characters.

There is a stamp station here, a statue of Molly tending her garden, Dimoo with enchanted mushrooms and a whole row of Labubu busts.

There’s also a meet-and-greet area where you can meet a random Pop Mart character at certain times of the day.

It’s the luck of the draw who you’ll meet after you get in the queue, so I was elated that I got to meet Molly on my visit.

20. Try Popland Snacks & Drinks

One of the things I loved about visiting Popland was the themed snacks and drinks you could find.

They had an ice-cream truck on Pop Street selling some Cry Baby and Twinkle Twinkle lollies.

There was also a Labubu snack bar serving up tasty popcorn and Labubu beverages.

I’ve already mentioned the Labubu waffles, which are a must-try in my opinion.

Plus, you can find lots of Pop Mart-themed biscuits, pastries and cakes in Molly’s Dessert Shop.

21. MerDimoo Fountain

Right outside Molly’s Castle in Dimoo World, you’ll find MerDimoo sitting on his fountain.

Dimoo honestly looks majestic here, and the fountain makes for a great photo opportunity throughout the day. I loved visiting at sunset.

At certain times, Dimoo makes an appearance here, and you can meet him for photos.

But he’s very popular, so I’d recommend getting in the queue well before he’s due to arrive.

22. Molly’s Gift

Molly’s Gift is an interactive walkthrough attraction in Molly’s Castle.

You walk through several themed rooms, including an interactive portrait gallery, art studio, Labubu workshop and Space Molly show.

A lot of the commentary was in Mandarin, and so I couldn’t really understand what was going on half the time.

But it was still a fun thing to do, and there were lots of photo opportunities throughout.

My favourite room was the one with all the Labubus in the wood workshop.

23. Baby Molly’s Cuddle Garden

If you have young children, you can take them to enjoy Baby Molly’s Cuddle Garden.

Here, you’ll find a cute trail to follow with cutouts featuring Baby Molly and Baby Tabby.

There is also a huge playground to keep your littles one entertained.

24. Collect stickers

Another thing that was really sweet about visiting Popland was that the staff gave you stickers throughout the day.

I received stickers as gifts from restaurant staff, ride attendants, cleaners, security and those in the shop.

I think I came away with over 50 free stickers that day featuring all the Pop Mart characters.

They were such lovely souvenirs. To remember my visit, I put my collection in a scrapbook.

Is Popland worth visiting?

Yes, I cannot stress enough how much I loved visiting Popland Beijing. As a huge Pop Mart fan, I found it a dream come true.

I had the best day here on the rides, watching shows, buying exclusive merchandise, meeting characters and eating Popland food.

It was the best day out, and I didn’t want to leave. I would go as far as to say I would fly back to China again just for Popland!

Don’t skip the Labubu theme park in China. If you’re a fan of Pop Mart or even if you’re not, it makes for a whimsical day out.

Popland opening times

Popland is typically open from 10 am to 10 pm in Beijing. But the last entry is usually around 7 pm.

On special occasions, they close early, but they usually warn you of this well in advance on their social media pages.

How much time do you need in Popland?

Most people recommend three hours here at Popland, but I would argue this isn’t enough time.

Now that they have expanded the park, you could easily spend an entire day there.

They have endless shows, restaurants, five rides to enjoy, a huge store, carnival games to play and friendly characters to meet.

I spent the entire day here from open to close as I was having so much fun. I didn’t want to leave and was the last to exit at closing time.

Popland is a theme park owned by Pop Mart. So, you’ll see the same characters there on your visit; they even have exclusive merchandise!

I found that there was English on signs, menus, and some of the staff spoke English too. There were also English announcements over speakers etc. But most of the shows were in Mandarin. It’s best to have your translator app on hand just in case.
