Are you looking for where to find the Alien Mochi at Tokyo Disney Resort? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.

They are one of the resort’s most popular snacks as they are adorable, tasty and (most importantly) exclusive. Ooohhh

But finding them can be a bit of a mystery. Almost as big a secret as who is behind “The Clawwww”.

These alien dumplings have been on my Disney bucket list for SO long, and I was over the moon to finally try some on my recent trip to Japan.

So, here is a short and sweet post on where to find the Alien Mochi at Tokyo Disney, or Little Green Dumplings!

Where to find Alien Mochi at Tokyo Disney

What is Alien Mochi at Tokyo Disney?

If you’ve never heard of or eaten mochi, it’s a Japanese pounded rice cake that’s a cultural delicacy steeped in tradition.

Tokyo Disney have their own take on this popular dessert called Little Green Dumplings.

These adorable cakes are inspired by the Toy Story Aliens or Little Green Men.

They come served in a beautiful Toy Story-themed cup, which makes a great souvenir, and they are almost too cute to consume.

What’s inside the alien dumplings?

Not only do the Little Green Dumplings look adorable, but they are also delicious.

You get three alien dumplings in a pot, and each one has a different flavour of custard inside. These are;

  1. Vanilla
  2. Strawberry
  3. Chocolate (my favourite)

I loved how you don’t know the flavour of the mochi until you bite into it, so each time it’s a magical surprise!

Where to find the Little Green Dumplings

You can only buy Alien Mochi at the Tokyo Disney parks in Japan.

They are exclusive to this resort. So, it makes sense to try some when you’re here.

Fortunately, as they are so popular with guests, many restaurants serve these extraterrestrial snacks in both parks.

Here is where to find Little Green Dumplings on your visit.

Alien Mochi locations in Tokyo Disneyland

  1. Plaza Pavilion Restaurant in Westernland
  2. Soft Landing in Tomorrowland (2nd Floor)
  3. Pan Galactic Pizza Port in Tomorrowland
  4. Plazma Ray’s Diner in Tomorrowland

I bought mine in Plazma Ray’s Diner without a mobile order, and the queue was really long.

I definitely recommend pre-ordering via the app to save time.

Little Green Dumplings Souvenir Case

I definitely learned my lesson about the long queues at restaurants in Tokyo Disney. So, the second time I opted for a Mobile Order.

My second helping of Little Green Dumplings was from the New York Deli in Tokyo DisneySea, along with an Alien Mochi souvenir case.

This is the cutest souvenir to take home if you’re a fan of this dessert. It costs ¥1,250 with a portion of the alien dumplings included.

These cases are super popular and often sell out, so make sure to grab one if you see them available!

How much are the Little Green Dumplings?

At the time of writing, a pot of Alien Mochi costs ¥400 at Tokyo Disney Resort.

It’s a small price to pay for these little balls of goodness!

Although I felt guilty biting into their faces, I loved this snack so much that I ate them every day at the parks.

These alien dumplings are just the cutest sweet treat, and I couldn’t get enough.

You must try them at least once during your trip to Tokyo Disney.

My top tips

  • Alien Mochi can sell out by the end of the day if it’s really busy. Try to get some in the morning or early afternoon.
  • Always chew mochi thoroughly. These sticky cakes can be a choking hazard if you try to swallow them whole (true story).
