The Leela Palace Bangalore is one of the more affluent hotels to spend the night in while you’re in India.
With its high columns, tall palm trees, and first-class customer service, it should be the next place to put on your bucket list.
Situated around 60 minutes from Bengaluru airport, you will escape the busy roads of the city and arrive in a 5-star tropical paradise!

Arriving at the Leela Palace in Bangalore
On arrival, you will be transported into a world of luxury and greeted by staff who are willing to wait on your hand and foot. You will be guided to your room and given a grand tour.
The beds were massive and for such a little person like me. The first thing I did was star shape jump onto it.
Yes, that is a sofa in my room (luxury!). I did have a lounge on it, but I preferred to chill out on the comfy bed. It was calling me back!
My personal favourite touch was the complimentary treats on offer which was perfect if you’ve had a long journey.
What’s even better is that they were my favourite. Macaroons!

The Bathroom
When I walked into the bathroom my jaw dropped.
It was like walking into a royal palace. It had two showers (yes, two showers) and a massive tub!
The bath had a window to look into the other room, so you can watch TV while bathing.
Every room comes with a robe, slippers, embossed towels, and toiletries to use complimentary.
It was absolutely spotless and so grand. I felt worried to touch anything!
But, I did try on the amazing slippers from the Leela as I walked around my luxury room for the night. (shhh, I still have them now – they magically disappeared in my suitcase)
The beds and pillows were super soft and I had no issues falling asleep.
It was so peaceful and quiet that I drifted right off without any problems whatsoever.
The views
My favourite part was waking up in the morning and being greeted by this BEAUTIFUL sunrise. Is there anything better?
At this moment, I had to pinch myself to check I wasn’t dreaming. I did feel extremely lucky!
Exploring the hotel grounds
Walking around the lobby areas and grounds of the hotels is another wonderful experience.
The tall columns, palm trees, and waterfalls all made the setting the perfect respite from the heat and busy life outside its walls.
The pool
Despite all of the above, my absolute favourite place by far was their beautiful pool.
Each bed comes with a complimentary towel and you will have service right at your sun lounger!
So, you can sip a Kingfisher and relax without lifting a finger – it’s all added to your tab!
It’s definitely a great place to rest after a busy day of sightseeing around Bangalore.
It is notoriously hot and crowded and so winding down is just what was ordered.
If you didn’t fancy going outside but wanted to do a bit of shopping. The Leela Palace has its own mall.
You don’t need to leave the hotel to spend your rupees. You can pick up designer items and souvenirs there.
The service
The staff at the Leela really couldn’t do enough for you and it definitely reflects their philosophy.
Every day they will greet you and assist you with anything you need help with!
Of course, I had to get a photo with the amazing concierge, who would open your door for you.
Final words
If you find yourself flying south in India to Bangalore, make sure you check into the Leela Palace!
Even though it looks like it could cost you a fortune, it’s actually around £100-£150 a night.
This is a bargain for the luxury service and apartment you will receive.
I enjoyed every second and wished that I could stay there again. Its truly the definition of extravagance!
